No doubt you will have an idea of what type of property you are seeking. However, our staff are fully available to assist you in securing your home and answering any questions you may have. 

Having found your ideal property the following will be payable.

In addition to paying rent for the property you are also required to make the following permitted payments:


Holding Fee equivalent to 1 weeks rent

The full deposit being 5 weeks rent

During the tenancy:

Payments to other third parties e.g. Council Tax, Communication Services and Utility Bills


During the tenancy these charges will become payable if you require the use of any of these services:

Charges quoted include VAT



Keys/security device replacement

Charged at cost + agents time at a rate of £15/hour

Early termination of a tenancy within the fixed term

Subject to landlord agreement & the payment of the landlord’s re-letting costs

Removal a tenant

£60

Addition of a new tenant

£60

Changing a tenant

£60

Change to rental payment date

£60

Amend the tenancy to allow a pet

£60

Late payment of rent charged at a daily rate

3% above Bank of England base rate (per annum)


TENANTS DEPOSIT

All deposits paid by tenants must be registered with a Tenancy Deposit Scheme within 30 days of the tenancy commencing.   Where Duncan Perry Estate Agents are responsible for registering the deposit this will be done with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) and we will also send them the deposit monies to hold until the end of the tenancy.

Where a Landlord registers the deposit the Landlord may use a different scheme.  This being the case we will have the name of the scheme to which they are registered and their Landlord ID number.

The Tenancy Agreement which tenants are required to sign will reflect the deposit scheme to which the Landlord is affiliated and will contain the Prescribed Information pertinent to that scheme.
