Superbike Racing 2026 Season

Duncan Perry are once again proud to sponsor the PTR Triumph Factory Racing Team in the Supersport World Championship for 2026.

Both Tom Booth-Amos and Oli Bayliss are our riders for a second consecutive season in this class.

PTR Triumph Racing experienced the full range of emotions in a dramatic second race of the FIM Supersport World Championship weekend at the Autodrom Most, as Oli Bayliss secured a sensational podium finish while teammate Tom Booth-Amos suffered cruel late heartbreak.

In an action-packed 19-lap race around the fast and demanding Czech circuit, Booth-Amos looked set to bounce back from the disappointment of race one with a podium finish firmly in his sights, while Bayliss continued his strong weekend with another consistent ride inside the top five.

Bayliss ultimately claimed the second podium finish of both his World Supersport career and the 2026 season after a dramatic final lap turned the race on its head.

Starting from seventh on the grid, the Australian held position through the opening laps while Booth-Amos lost a couple of places off the line. Determined to make amends for Saturday’s crash, Booth-Amos quickly fought his way forward and by lap eight had made his move on Bayliss as he pushed into podium contention.  From there, the British rider showed impressive pace and established himself in a thrilling fight for third position with Lucas Mahias, while Bayliss maintained strong and consistent pace just behind in fifth place.

As the race entered its closing stages, Booth-Amos appeared on course for a deserved podium finish, running third on the final lap before disaster struck once again at the same corner that had ended his race one challenge. The British rider crashed out dramatically, with Mahias also falling at the same moment.

Booth-Amos bravely remounted to salvage 16th place at the chequered flag, while the late-race drama elevated Bayliss from fifth to third, handing the Australian a hard-earned and emotional podium finish for PTR Triumph Racing.

PTR Triumph Racing Factory Team Manager Simon Buckmaster: “Obviously we are really happy for Oli to get third in race two so congratulations to his side of the garage but also to the whole team, because we are a team.  Tom rode a good race and at the start of the last lap still had a chance to win but into turn one, Can Oncu was trying to outbrake Valentin Debise and he almost sort of got pulled in, lost the front and slid off so it was the same as Saturday.  That’s really disappointing for us.  On the positive front, the pace was there to win, the bike is as good as anyone’s we can see that.  Ups and downs but great to have another podium.  I’m pleased for the team and everyone at Triumph Racing for all the effort and the great job they do and all the people that support us.  Looking forward to Aragon with both riders on the pace, let’s see if we can get both of them on the podium.”

British Superbike Racing 2025

We are proud to sponsor the XMT Triumph Racing Team owned by Chris Hicks in the ZYN British Superbike Racing Season 2026. This is XMT's second season in racing with riders in the Quattro British Supersport and Pirelli Sportsbike categories.

Jamie Davis is competing in the Quattro British Supersport category and Zak Shelton is our rider in the Pirelli Sportsbike category.

Round 2 on the racing calendar took place at Donnington Park on Saturday16th/Sunday 17th May.

Jamie Davis is a new rider to the team and steadily ran two great races over the weekend. Well done Jamie.  Zak Shelton exceeded all expectations by finishing with two podium places; second in the Saturday race and a Winning1st in Sunday's race which gave team owner Chris Hicks of XMT Racing his first ever Winning Team Trophy - not bad considering its only his second year in the sport !  Lets hope it's the first of many.

In the British Superbike Races there were three notable riders who broke away from the group in the long races over the weekend; Kyle Ryde riding for Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions; Scott Redding for Hager PBM Ducati and Max Cook for AJN Steelstock Bimota.  We have seen some very impressive riding from Max so far this season. All three riders shared places on the podiums in all races this weekend.

The current standings are as follows:  Kyle Ryde with 104 points: Scott Redding with 85 points and Leon Haslam (Moto Rapido Racing) with 82 points.

The next meeting is at Knockhill in Scotland across the weekend of Friday19th June to Sunday 21st June 2026
